Marie is one of the original staff members hired at the Escondido Sports Center. She was hired in October of 1997 and started as a registration staff member. She was later promoted and worked as a Site Supervisor. She currently serves as the Center's customer service coordinator. Her responsibilities include setting up registration procedures, insuring quality customer service, and supervising the registration staff.

Marie, who was born and raised in Escondido, is a graduate of Orange Glen High School and attended CSUSM. Marie currently resides in Escondido with her husband Doug.
